What this site keeps, and what it does not

This page explains what happens to information when you visit soilful.earth. It is short because the site does very little.

Who runs this

The site is run by one person, reachable at[email protected]. That address is also the place to write if you have a question about anything on this page.

What the site does not do

There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no profiling. There are no third party fonts, scripts or embeds: every file the page needs is served from this domain. There are no accounts, no logins and no payments.

What is stored on your device

One thing: your choice of light or dark theme, saved in your browser's local storage under the name soilful-theme. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and disappears if you clear site data. The site itself sets no cookies.

Server logs and the network

The site is delivered through Cloudflare and hosted on a server in the European Union, in Leipzig, Germany. Both process technical data such as IP address, requested address, browser type and time, in order to deliver the page and keep the service secure. Cloudflare may set its own security cookies when it needs to check that a visitor is not a bot.

The legal basis is legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the site.

Email

If you write to [email protected], your message and your address stay in that mailbox so the conversation can continue. Nothing is added to a mailing list and nothing is shared.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to the processing. Write to [email protected].

If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
